You can/should also cross-check with the BPA and/or NSA online Illinois State schedules via these links:
Additionally, Leonard Winchester, NSA IL GFP State UIC also conducts his own Clinic(s), plus several NSA Fast Pitch Tournament dates he is looking to fill. For that information, please go to the following page, AND if replying to him directly, PLEASE CC ME, so that I can keep track of where you’re planning to work.
SANCTIONING: Also, it’s now time to Sanction for the 2010 season. For those of you who have not yet begun the process, please follow this procedure:
If you sanction strictly for GFP Softball, or GPF Softball AND Slow Pitch Softball, go to http://www.playnsa.com/modules.php?name=Umpires. Fill out the online form you’ll find there, and select either the IL Fastpitch UIC or the IL 16” Slowpitch UIC, whichever is your Primary Discipline. Once you complete the form, you’ll be given instruction on how and where to process your sanction fee payments.

- If you either sanction for BOTH BPA Baseball AND GFP Softball, or ONLY for BPA Baseball, please go to http://www.playbpa.com/modules.php?name=Umpires and fill out that online form, making the appropriate selections. For UIC simply hit the letter “I” fir Illinois. Again, once submitted, you’ll receive instruction on how and where to process your sanction fee payments.
- As a convenience to umpires, and because most of the top UICs have a strong mutual respect for each other, Other Sanction Information, can be found HERE.
These will be matters for you to handle directly.
2010 BPA / NSA Policies and Procedures. Finally, you’ll need to review and make sure you understand the updated 2010 BPA / NSA Policies and Procedures which you’ll find HERE. How much you earn per game is up to you, as you will learn when you read that information.
Form what I’ve been discussing with the State Directors, It’s going to be Another Amazing Year for BPA / NSA officials in Northern Illinois. Looking forward to having you on board, very soon.
