Other BPA divisional play will include sites in Battle Creek, MI (10u, 11u), Owensboro, KY (8u, 9u, & 13u).
This will be BPA Illinois’ 2nd time hosting a BPA World Series Event. In 2008, Illinois BPA under Gund and Parks ran BPA’s first ever successful event for the upper age levels -- 15u, 16u and 17u - 18u.
“Hosting Any Aspect of a World Series Event is a prestigious honor, to say the least,” Parks commented. “Hosting this 2012 event for the upper age levels makes a powerful statement, in that the BPA-NSA Senior Management is impressed with the work we’ve been doing to help grow the program. Their confidence in us and in our ability to make this happen will be well rewarded.”
